Top Experiences and Highlights

Island Bliss and Fun in Phu Quoc

Start your adventure on the idyllic shores of Phu Quoc, where crystal-clear waters and lush landscapes create a perfect getaway. Unwind in the peaceful northern part of the island, visit Grand World in the evening for lively entertainment, and embark on a speedboat tour that includes exploring four nearby islands. Don't miss the thrilling cable car ride and the exciting VinWonders amusement park, along with the Vinpearl Safari to get close to exotic wildlife in their natural habitat.

Discovering Danang and the Timeless Charm of Hoi An

Next, immerse yourself in the cultural and natural wonders of central Vietnam. Danang offers a vibrant city atmosphere with scenic spots like the Coconut Forest. Just a short ride away, the ancient town of Hoi An delights visitors with its lantern-lit streets, traditional architecture, and rich history. A highlight here is the full-day excursion to Ba Na Hills, home to the impressive Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands — a surreal photo opportunity and a modern marvel surrounded by mountain vistas.

Historic Hanoi and the Majestic Halong Bay

End your trip in Hanoi, Vietnam’s bustling capital known for its blend of French colonial architecture and vibrant street life. From here, embark on a deluxe day cruise in the UNESCO-listed Halong Bay. Experience the awe-inspiring limestone karsts, explore Surprising Cave’s dramatic chambers, relax on Titop Island’s beach, and enjoy kayaking through peaceful waters, making for unforgettable moments amidst stunning natural beauty.

Best Time to Visit and Weather Tips

Vietnam’s climate varies from north to south, so planning your trip according to weather can enhance your experience. The best months to travel generally are from October to April, when the weather is cooler and drier — especially ideal for beach activities in Phu Quoc and sightseeing in Hanoi and Danang.

  • Phu Quoc: Expect warm, tropical weather year-round; avoid the heavy rains of September and October.
  • Danang & Hoi An: Best visited between February and May to enjoy warm but not overly hot weather, perfect for outdoor excursions.
  • Hanoi & Halong Bay: Cooler temperatures prevail from November to March, making sightseeing comfortable and enhancing the bay’s misty beauty.

Practical Tips for Indian Travellers

Visa and Entry

Most Indian travellers will require a visa to enter Vietnam. Many opt for an e-visa or visa-on-arrival with prior approval — it's best to check the latest regulations and apply in advance to avoid delays.

Local Transport

Within cities like Hanoi and Danang, taxis, ride-hailing apps, and cyclos are popular and convenient ways to get around. For island tours and intercity transfers, pre-arranged cabs or organized transport included in packages ensure smooth travel.

Food and Culture

Vietnamese cuisine is deliciously varied and often includes fresh herbs, seafood, and rice-based dishes. Indian travellers will find familiar flavours in some dishes, but it’s also a great opportunity to explore local specialties like Pho, Banh Mi, and fresh spring rolls. Be mindful of local customs, dress modestly when visiting religious sites, and always ask permission before photographing people.

Packing Suggestions

  • Light cotton clothing for humid and warm weather
  • A good pair of walking shoes for city exploration and nature walks
  • Swimwear and sun protection for beach days in Phu Quoc
  • A light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings in Hanoi and early mornings on Halong Bay
  • Basic medicines and insect repellent
